About This Event
Qi Gong is an age-old Chinese medical and health-promoting practice. The primary goal is to enhance well-being, vitality, and longevity using the craft of moving energy, in conjunction with breath, postures/movements, and meditative practices.
These exercises and practices are especially helpful for caregivers, seniors, and those with neurological, cognitive, or neurodegenerative issues. Qi Gong aids in fall prevention, mental focus and acuity, easing anxiety, achieving calm and balance.

I refer to my style as “Nu Qi Gong” as it is a melding of my experiences and expertise in Western approaches in the fields of neurophysiology, neuropsychology, and neurology with the Eastern approaches of Chinese medical practices in Qi Gong, Yoga, Tai Chi, meditation, and mindfulness.
I successfully lead exercise classes and help people with good health, anxiety, fatigue, chronic issues, and neurological and neurodegenerative issues (e.g., dementia, stroke, cancer).
The gentle movements of Nu Qi Gong are especially beneficial and accessible to the elderly. You do not need any equipment, can exercise in comfortable clothes, and do not need to exert yourself – yet you feel energized, revitalized and calmer afterward:)
